is a wholly owned subsidiary of Petroleum Sarawak Gas. SGDSB owns and operates the piped natural gas grid that supplies domestic gas to over 25,000 households and 1,000 commercial businesses in Miri, Sarawak.

Sarawak Shell Oilfields Ltd

Introduced the 1st natural gas supply service in the state to small number of houses in Tanjong Lobang as a community service

1960

Sarawak State

SGD was incorporated on 1st Sept and further expand the grid services throughout Miri

1992

SESCO

The State via JKR briefly handover the operations to (then) SESCO under Gas Distribution

1995

Sarawak Gas Distribution Sdn Bhd

SGD was incorporated on 1st Sept and further expand the grid services throughout Miri

2020

PETROS

Took over SGD on 1st Jan as wholly-owned entity to grow the Domestic Gas Business throughout Sarawak
