Apply for Approval to Install (ATI)

* Approval by MUT

Gas Competent Person

  • Prepare application documents & get endorsed documents from SGD
  • Submit Approval To Install (ATI) application to MUT (ATI Approval within 15 working days)
  • Receive ATI Bill (RM 200) from MUT

Applicant

  • Receive ATI Bill from Gas Competent Person
  • Make ATI Bill (RM 200) payment via SPay

MUT

  • Issue Approval To Install (ATI)

Apply for Gas Supply & Installation

* Processing by SGD

Applicant

  • Submit these documents to SGD for Gas Supply Application
    • Contract for Gas Supply
    • General Terms and Conditions for Gas Supply
    • Certified True Copy (CTC) Documents:
      CTC can be one by SGD staff, Lawyers, Bank Officials and authorised Government Officers.
      • For Tenant: Tenancy Agreement
      • For Landlord: Land Title and Sales & Purchase
      • Personal:
        1. NRIC of Tenant or NRIC of Landlord
      • Business:
        1. Business Registration
        2. Trade Licence 
      • Sole Proprietorship / Partnership:
        1. NRIC of Owner(s)
        2. Company Extract
      • Sdn Bhd:
        1. NRIC of Directors or Shareholders
        2. Business Registration
        3. Trade Licence
        4. Form 24 – Return Allotment of Shares
        5. Form 49 – Return Giving Particulars in Register of Directors, Managers And Secretaries And Changes of Particulars
  • Make payments to SGD for:
    • Installation Fee (External Piping, Meter and Regulator)
    • Collateral Deposit

Gas Competent Person

  • Perform installation, testing & commissioning (Witnessed by Applicant & SGD)

SGD

  • Perform inspection, testing and commissioning for the internal gas piping and gas alarm installations
  • Sign Off Supporting Documents in Approval To Operate (ATO) Form

Apply for Approval To Operate (ATO)

* Approval by MUT

Gas Competent Person

  • Submit Approval To Operate (ATO) Application to MUT

MUT

  • Site inspection witnessed by Ministry or appointed representative & applicant
  • ATO approval within 15 working days
  • Issue ATO Bill (RM 100) to Gas Competent Person

Applicant

  • Receive ATO Bill from Gas Competent Person
  • Make ATO Bill (RM 100) payment via SPay

MUT

  • Send ATO Certificate to SGD

Gas Competent Person

  • Collect ATO Certificate from SGD and pass to Applicant

Applicant

  • Pay Gas Competent Person the outstanding balance
